The Gravel Kraken has been wrestling with the following Santorum quote, regarding contraception, today:
“It’s not okay. It’s a license to do things in a sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be”
After some soul searching, The Kraken realizes Santorum has a point:
You know what, Rick Santorum is right! There is a way things are supposed to be, and that way is how it should be.
That is the way of natural, intelligent design.
Take, for example, the human body. When God designed man, he didn’t design him like a duck! If we were supposed to float, we would. Putting on a life-jacket at the pool is taking protective measures to insure the outcome we want, not the one God wants. Increasing buoyancy through artificial means encourages people to wade out beyond where they can touch the bottom. It is in God’s plan that I not go past 5′. The writing is on the wall. Why are we swimming recreationally, anyway? Get from point A to point B and sit down on dry land like God intended.
