Pretty abysmal, isn’t it? Is so much of this country really dedicated to denying rights to an entire class of people, for no good reason?
Yesterday’s Prop 8 ruling may go to the supreme court. If they uphold it or deny to hear it, then it will stand, and there will be legal precedent for the unconstitutionality of a ban. So that picture could change. I happen to think it’s inevitable, as the younger generation just doesn’t much care who someone else chooses to marry. And why should they?
