Annabel Lee reads Sanotrum’s book so you don’t have to:
I read Rick Santorum’s 2005 book It Takes a Family: Conservatism and the Common Good. I went through every page of it. I suffered through every lie, every misstatement, every talking point within the book. I slugged through page after page of demagoguery and nonsense. I attempted to understand where his points were coming from, finding countless claims and assertions littered throughout the book. Neither Google nor Bing could help me find any evidence that Santorum knew what he was writing about.
When I finished the book, I had less respect for the man than I had before I started. I at least respected his tenacity and his candidacy as someone voters found appealing. Now, I have no idea why anyone could rally behind this man.
Go have a beer or 20, I have a feeling you’ll need it.
