According to White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, the President:
“has not met for six months with the CEOs and others on his Jobs Council in part because he’s simply been too busy”
I get that the jobs council probably doesn’t mean much at this point because nothing they suggest will ever pass. I get that.
But unemployed people will hear this as “well I would help you, but I’m too busy campaigning”.
