It looks like Romney’s new strategy is to just tart tearing into Obama with birtherism and other such nonsense. Maybe I’m a horrible political strategist, but I suspect this is a losing strategy. People outside the republican base just don’t care about those things. They’re too busy worrying about getting laid off or finding a job.
It should be relatively easy for Obama to toss all this back in Romney’s face. While Mitt Romney has been busy overseeing attempts to discredit my birth certificate, I’ve been busy overseeing 24 consecutive months of job growth.
The only people that buy into the birthers nonsense weren’t voting Obama anyways.
