Paul Cameron, of the Family Research Institute, thinks Obama’s views on marriage equality indicate that he may be gay and in fact have secret gay lovers:
“Actually, while I’m not sure about the claims by the various people who have reported that Obama has at least participated at times with them in homosexual acts, this certainly lends some credence”
Presumably, his views on women’s rights (for example, equal pay, which he has been talking up a lot recently) should also indicate that he may be a woman.
The idea that support for a certain groups’ rights indicates that you belong to that group is pretty widespread, and completely ridiculous. One need not follow the other, even if it often does. Plenty of people support plenty of other people’s rights not because they belong in the same group as those other people, but because its the right thing to do. The rest of Cameron’s statements lead me to believe he isn’t familiar with the concept.
